The maritime location of the University of Greifswald offers excellent conditions for our water sports courses. We focus on sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and rowing.

The Danish Wiek is an ideal sailing area for sailing courses, but it also offers a suitable spot for beginner windsurfing courses.

The idyllic Ryck river is available for canoeing and rowing. Depending on the ability of the course participants and the weather conditions, the area for canoeing can also be extended to the Dänische Wiek.

In all disciplines, the courses offered depend on the availability of instructors. Even if there is high demand for a particular sport, it may not be possible to offer a course.
