The maritime location of the University of Greifswald provides excellent conditions for our water sports courses. We focus on sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and rowing.

The Dänische Wiek is an ideal area for sailing courses, but it also offers a suitable spot for beginners' windsurfing courses.

The idyllic Ryck river is used for canoeing and rowing. Depending on the ability of the course participants and the weather conditions, the canoeing can also take place on the Dänische Wiek.

In all disciplines, the courses on offer depend on the availability of instructors. Even if there is high demand for a particular sport, it may not be possible to offer a course.
