Using and Renting of University-owned Sports Facilities

1. Free use

The sports facilities at the University of Greifswald can be made available free of charge for special purposes within the framework of the applicable regulations [de].

2. Rental

There are essentially two types of rental available:

• Short-term rental (subject to VAT), e.g. for individual or a few dates (sports events, private training, celebrations) or
• Long-term rental (VAT-exempt), which applies to periods of 6 months or more

A rental agreement is usually required for rentals. Please contact kursplanung(at)uni-greifswald.de with your rental enquiries at least two weeks in advance.
